<p>Interpower, founded <b><a href="Products/hkha.htm">generating sets</a>, <a href="Products/industrial.htm">power
generation</a></b> in 1984, have produced thousands <b><a href="Products/marine.htm">gensets</a>,
<a href="Products/telecoms.htm">sound attenuated generators</a></b> of generating
sets, for key installations around the world, from Taiwan and Hong Kong, through
Pakistan, Africa, South America, the Middle East, North America and Europe.
Interpower <b>gas generators</b> generating sets were used in the building of
the Anglo/French channel tunnel, and are installed in <b>interpower, diesel
generators</b> the Pamela Youde Hospital Hong Kong, the Atomic Energy <b>marine
generators, containerised generators</b> Supply Commission Pakistan, the <b>generating
sets, power generation</b> United Kingdom Early Warning System against nuclear
attack, Police Stations, Opera Houses, Hospitals and Installations where people
want reliable power. The Interpower <b>gensets, sound attenuated generators</b>
range of generating sets covers from <b>gas generators</b> approximately 4kVA
through 4000kVA, in both 50 and 60Hz. Among the engines we use are: Cummins,
Perkins, Volvo, Scania, Man, John Deere and Deutz. Interpower uses a range of
alternators, including Marathon <b>generating sets, power generation</b> Electric
and Newage but predominately Mecc Alte. We <b>marine generators, containerised
generators</b> are situated in Kirkbymoorside, <b>gensets, sound attenuated
generators</b> where we <b>marine generators, containerised generators</b> have
a 5000m² site. The offices occupy 200m², and the factory 1000m².
Kirkbymoorside is approximately 30 miles away from the city of York, <b>interpower,
diesel generators</b> on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National park.</p>
<p>Interpower manufacture a wide range of diesel generating sets from approximately
15kVA through to 1000kVA, utilising Cummins, Volvo, Perkins and other engines.
All the sets are water cooled, designed to withstand the rigours of marine auxiliary
generating sets. Interpower have supplied sets to Navies, fishing vessels, <b>interpower,
diesel generators</b> pleasure craft, oil rigs and luxury yachts, where reliable,
<b>generating sets, power generation</b> continuous auxiliary <b>gas generators</b>
power is required. Many of these sets are built to Classification Agency requirements.
The alternators are built to marine requirements and tested where required by
Classification Agencies. Class H insulation materials are used throughout and
anti-condensation <b>marine generators, containerised generators</b> heaters
are fitted as standard. Where possible Interpower uses single bearing alternators,
for direct coupling to the engine, thereby eliminating the requirement of a
flexible coupling, which leads to <b>gensets, sound attenuated generators</b>
increased reliability of the machine. Heat exchanger cooling, keel cooling,
<b>generating sets, power generation</b> and in some instances <b>gas generators</b>
radiator cooling are used, all of which use <b>interpower, diesel generators</b>

range of optional equipment is offered with Interpower marine sets.</p>
<p>Interpower have a wide range of industrial, prime power, generators, varying
from 4kVA through to 4000kVA. Engine suppliers include, Cummins, Deutz, Perkins,
Volvo, John Deere and MTU. Coupled to alternators by Newage, Mecc Alte, Marelli,
Marathon and Leroy Somer. Interpower's standard range of sets, <b>interpower,
diesel generators</b> through to approximately 500kVA have folded steel base
<b>gas generators</b> plates, which <b>gensets, sound attenuated generators</b>
have a base <b>marine generators, containerised generators</b> fuel tank included
at no <b>generating sets, power generation</b> extra cost. For the smaller sets
the capacity is 100ltr, and the larger sets have 500ltr tanks.</p>

<p>Interpower acoustic enclosures are built to withstand extreme <b>interpower,
diesel generators</b> weather conditions. The acoustic enclosure is manufactured
with <b>gensets, sound attenuated generators</b> a steel outer skin, and is
lined with fire proof, acoustic material. Attenuators <b>gas generators</b>
are placed on the hot air outlet and cooling air inlet and exhaust silencers
of the residential type are mounted either on top of, or inside the enclosure,
<b>generating sets, power generation</b> exhausting to atmosphere. All Interpower
acoustic canopies are covered by our warranty. Interpower <b>interpower, diesel
generators</b> canopy sets have <b>gensets, sound attenuated generators</b>

all over the world, including Maldives, South America, Caribbean, China, Hong
Kong and Africa.</p>
<p>The set is mounted in a <b>gas generators</b> standard 20ft or 40ft ISO shipping
container, which is fitted with hot air outlet and cold air inlet louvers and
an exhaust system. The container is also fitted with <b>marine generators, containerised
generators</b> internal lighting <b>interpower, diesel generators</b> and personnel
<b>generating sets, power generation</b> access doors. To avoid transmission
of vibration from the engine, the set is mounted on robust rubber anti-vibration
mounts. Lubricating <b>gensets, sound attenuated generators</b> oil drain and
fuel oil connections are brought out to the side of the container for easy access
and maintenance. Shown in the photo is an ISO 20ft container containing a 1250kVA
Cummins KTA50G3, coupled to <b>gas generators</b> a Mecc Alte EC43 alternator.
The <b>interpower, diesel generators</b> set is sound attenuated to 85dBA @
1m, and <b>marine generators, containerised generators</b> contains an auto-synch
panel, 1000ltr bunded fuel tank, fuel separators, and an internal <b>generating
sets, power generation</b> exhaust.</p>
